Total duration: 45 minutes

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Place the meat on a work surface. Spread 1/2 tablespoon of Dijon on each piece of meat. Garnish with the minced onion, a slice of bacon and the paprika. Season with salt and pepper. Roll the steaks and secure with toothpick.
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the steak rolls and cook until browned on all sides. Pour in the broth and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer over low heat, covered, about 30 minutes. Remove steak rolls and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine the remaining cup of water and the cornstarch. Slowly pour the porridge into the liquid in the pan. Cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Return the steak rolls to the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill, if desired, and serve.
